Total upgrade of a closed well furnace
Situation before upgrade
With the renovation of this closed well melting furnace, the following improvements have been realized:
- the enlargement of the door openings to the interior width of the furnace;
- the extension of both the burner chamber and the well chamber;
- the replacement of the electrical drive system by a hydraulic drive system;
- the improvement of the fume extraction above the doors.
